Storage Box

A take on an old fashioned roll top writing desk.  This desk top storage box is made from Baltic birch plywood, the lid is a called a living hinge which can be rolled up and disappears into the box itself. The outside surfaces are protected with beeswax.  The top and sides of the box can be personalised with your own text.

The box can be configured with a roll down lid as per the bottom photograph. This piece was commissioned as a sweets box.                   

Book Harbour

This book harbour is a novel way of marking your page in a book.  The book harbour can be placed on a coffee table or bedside cupboard. There a number of personalisation possibilities' but the end is the more obvious as it is visible when in use. The other en has been left open to store your reading glasses and afternoon snack! The internal of the book harbour is felt lined to protect your spectacle lenses.
